Hi, I’m Tovey
I unlocked a huge passion for business only recently, but I was conscious that it lingered in the dusty corners of my mind for almost all of my life. But the real passion attached to it is creating something of my own, and being able to make an impact on even just one person’s life, while also changing mine, and hopefully my family’s.
My drive to keep going lays in the overly simple, and occasionally something at the caliber of running a marathon. A sunny day is enough to make my whole week.
I’m a substantial believer in the “Work to Live” motto over the “Live to Work”. SproutBox is that vessel for me. I plan to roadtrip after college while probably writing books for at least a couple years, while still running SproutBox— probably just overseeing things. My ultimate passion and goal is to travel every speck of the world, and experience everything that life has to offer.
I’m the CEO, and a co-founder of SproutBox. I grew up in a small neighborhood in the Chicago suburbs, and I’ve made the trek up to the town I’ve come to love, Marquette, Michigan.
I’m a bit indecisive, as I’ve changed my major five times in the span of two years! As of right now, I’m pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, and I’ve got about two years left.
I never really saw myself as much of a plant or ‘naturey’ type of guy, but some switch inside me flipped, and since then I’ve fell in love with everything outdoors. It’s seriously what gets me out of bed in the morning, and just overall peering into life with a much brighter lens. I’m extremely grateful to be able to do so.
A Few Hobbies Of Mine!
Rock climbing in the past 9 months or so has been one of my favorite things to do, and you really feel like a mountain goat whenever you’re outside climbing. My friend Logan introduced me to it back in August 2024, and I’ve been spending as much free time as I can climbing a rock or doing something physical.
Here’s a beautiful picture of me (in the middle) and a bunch of my friends at Little Presque Isle, probably my favorite beach in Marquette. The northern lights were out that night, and it’s definitely one of my most cherished memories here. I’m in love with anything outdoors.
Concerts! (Or anything music-related really.) Also a bit of a recent hobby; I went to my first concert only a little over a year ago!! Since then, I’ve been completely hooked, and have definitely spent way more than I should have at them in the past year. No regrets though.
