Where do you ship?
We ship all across the U.S! We also deliver locally. You can find the full list of what local zip codes we service at the bottom of the "Shop" page.
How long will my order take to arrive?
Orders typically take 3-4 business days to process, and shipping will take roughly 2-5 business days to deliver, so expect your order to arrive within 1-2 weeks of purchase.
Can I change my shipping address?
Yes! Just send us an email at sproutboxmqt@gmail.com within 24 hours of placing your order, and we'll have that fixed in no time. Unfortunately, if you fail to contact us within 24 hours regarding this issue, we will most likely not be able to change the address. Shipping labels are purchased 24 hours the order's placement, and we cannot refund a shipping label.
How do I track my order?
An email containing your tracking number will be sent to you as soon as the post office scans our shipping labels! From there, you just paste the ID into the usps tracking website, and you'll be able to track the estimated delivery date, as well as it's current location and delivery stage.
What happens if my order is damaged or lost?

Product Information
What is included in each SproutBox?
In each SproutBox, you will receive a customized terracotta pot, a pot plate, locally-sourced soil, a seed packet of your choice, an instructional pamphlet, and a sticker! In a SproutBox Trio, you will receive all of this besides the instructional pamphlet and sticker times three, and in The Green Thumb, you will receive all of this besides the instructional pamphlet and sticker times five.
Are your products organic?
Yes! Our soil is a mix of regular potting soil and vermicompost from Partridge Creek Compost, a local composting organization in Marquette focused on creating a sustainable future. For more information about them, check out our "Shop" page! Our seeds are from TrueLeaf Market, a high-quality, non-gmo, heirloom and organic seed company.
Do I need sunlight to grow the herbs?
Yes, you do! All of our herbs require roughly 5 hours of sunlight, with ones like basil requiring maybe an extra hour or two. Detailed instructions can be referenced in your instructional pamphlet.
Can I grow these indoors?
Yes!! SproutBox's design allows these herbs to be comfortable at the foot of your windowsill, or any other sunny spot in your home. No backyard required.
Are the seeds non-GMO?
Yes. All of our seeds come from TrueLife Market, and they have been non-GMO since their founding over 50 years ago.
Plant Care
How often should I water my plants?
For most of our herbs, you should water your plant usually every 1-2 days. For basil, cilantro, and catnip, water when the top inch of the soil feels dry. For spinach and arugula, water when the top half an inch feels dry. For rosemary, water when the top 1-2 inches of soil is completely dry. Detailed instructions can be referenced in your instructional pamphlet.
What should I do if my plant isn’t sprouting?
If your plant isn't sprouting, make sure it's getting enough sunlight as detailed in your pamphlet, and enough water (and not too much!). It is extremely unlikely that the seeds did not germinate, as all of our seeds have an almost 100% germination rate.
Do I need to fertilize the soil?
Nope! Our soil comes pre-"fertilized". Vermicompost can act as an extremely effective fertilizer for herbs, so we pre-portion and mix this soil so you don't have any extra steps!
